The World And The Earth And The Dust Part 5

The ultimate end to all Bible preaching and teaching must be giving glory to God through giving glory to Jesus Christ.

Psalm 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

2Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Psalm 41:13 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.

·      Eternity past to eternity future

Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Psalms 145:13 Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

·      A king has to have a dominion to rule over before he has a kingdom.

·      His kingdom always will be

1Chronicles 16:29 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

·      Before “in the beginning God created” who or what was there to give glory unto His name?

·      God’s creation was created to give glory unto His name.

·      His creation is the dominion of His kingdom

We have looked at the world that was and the world that is.

The world that will be

Isaiah 45:17 But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

·      Mark 10:28-30 V30: But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

·      Luke 18:30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

·      These verses are to Israel and the Jews (before the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ) who have been promised to receive blessing and material possessions when the believe God and follow the Lord. They would receive eternal, everlasting life in the world to come. For Old Testament Jews.

·      This changed after the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. All who come to Christ already receive eternal, everlasting life in this world. We have

Isaiah 26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. {1000 year reign of Christ}

The World to come: Isaiah 65:17, 2Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:1, 11

·      The world of Israel’s everlasting salvation and the everlasting salvation of all who are saints at the end of Satan’s little season.

V19-21 those who escape this battle will enter the 1000 year reign of Christ. The gentile nations who escape and enter this reign will bring the Jews to The Christ reigning in Jerusalem as offerings and the Jews will be priest of the LORD.  The church will be seen reigning with Him as his bride.

V22 Israel will be the priest of the Lamb and God in the new earth, in the new Jerusalem. The church will seen be as the righteousness of God adorning the new Jerusalem, the bride of the lamb.

·      [Ephesians 3:20: 2Corinthians 5:21 with Revelation 19:8]

The world to come with end, to the glory of God through the Son.

Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
