Red Heifer 4 - Keep The Home Pure

We said last lesson This world is trying as hard as it can to corrupt the children!

Only the children who came out of Egypt and the children who were born in the wilderness were going to be able to enter the Promised Land. Where did these children sleep and go into during a storm? The tents

Where should the children be the safest for corruption from the world. - Within the walls of their homes.

Numbers 19:14 This is the law, when a man dieth in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.
15 And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, is unclean.
16 And whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.
17 And for an unclean person they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:
18 And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, [The vessels were without lids]

The tent - As the nation of Israel wondered in the wilderness tents were their homes and when death came to someone in the tent the home had to be purified and all those in it. A polluted home will pollute those living within it's walls.

2John 1:10 ¶ If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
2John 1:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Numbers 19:15 And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, is unclean.
Often an open box of baking soda to absorb odors in a refrigerator. What if you put part of the baking soda in a uncovered bowl and part in a bowl with a lid on it, which baking would absorb the odors? The corruption would go inside of the uncovered vessels.

2Ti mothy2:19 ¶ Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

2Ti 2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

2Ti 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

Hebrews 3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

1Peter 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
