The Regeneration Of Israel Part 2

Romans 11:23-27, 28-32

·        They, them, these the Jews; the ye, yours: the Gentile Christians

11:23-24 When they abide not still in unbelief, they shall be graffed in by  God in again. into their own olive tree?

·        The they (V23) is Israel: the tribes and people

Ø     The Jews were the natural branches of the olive tree. Gentiles are graffed in by faith.

Ø     If God used Gentiles think how much more I will use Israel

·        God is going back to His natural order established with Abraham. that is Jew first and also unto the Gentile. Gentiles serving God is not natural. The Church Age is an unnatural part of history.

·        The tribes and people of Israel (the broken off  branches) are going to be graffed back in to their good olive tree, the nation of Israel, Abraham's seed.

·        The rapture of the church will remove all Christians from the olive tree. There will be no branches on the olive tree until Israel is graffed in again, beginning with the 144,000 from twelve tribes mentioned in  Revelation 7:1-8.

When will all the Jews be graffed in again.

A mystery in the Bible is something we could never  know unless specifically revealed by God in His word

·        Romans 11:25 remain in partial blindness until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. (Luke 21:20-28, {V24})

Ø     Gentiles are no longer in control of Jerusalem and the land of promise

·        V23 when they, the Jews, are no longer living in unbelief.

·        2Chronicles 20:20 .  .  .Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

·        It is said of Abraham in Genesis 15:6 "And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness."

11:26-27 All Israel will be saved. The lord has made a covenant with Israel to take away their sins. (Isaiah 59:20; Jeremiah 31:34; Hebrews 10:16-17

V28- Even though the Jews are enmity with the Gospel (they rejected & despised) the Jews are His elect nation and people. Choosing them as His elect was a gift to them and God is not going to change His mine (repent)

·        Isaiah 44:1, 45:4  Israel the elect nation and people of the Lord.

V30-32 The circle of God's mercy

·        God extended His mercy when he called Israel His elect, Through their unbelief God sent His mercy to the Gentiles so Israel could receive His mercy again

V33-35 God was not obligated to extend His mercy and Grace to anyone.  We can not comprehend  God's ways, His mercy, His Grace.

V36 Everything that has happened on this earth, both the good and the bad, will bring glory to God. Don't ask me how, but it will.

The Regeneration Of Israel

Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Before The regeneration begins

·        The rapture of the church, Christians removed from the olive tree

·        The sealing of the 144,000 (Revelation 7:3-4,14:1) firstfruits of the tribulation; graffed in for service

The order of Regeneration

1.     First the return of Jesus Christ In His glory

·        Matthew 19:28, Mark 8:38, Zechariah 12:9, 14:9

2.     They shall look on him whom they pierced.

·        Zechariah 12:10a, Amos 8:10 with Psalm 22:16

·        Repentance of Israel Zechariah 12:10b

3.     Regeneration of Israel

·        Zechariah 1:16

·         Matthew 19:29 with Isaiah 2:5 and Zechariah 8:8

4.     Regeneration of the land of promise

·        Zechariah 14:8, 10-11 river of water flows out of Jerusalem

5.     Gentile nations come to Jerusalem to learn of Him

·        Zechariah 14:16

·        Isaiah 2:1-3

6.     Regeneration of the earth in the 1000 year reign of Christ

·        Joel 2:21-27

·        Zechariah 14:16-17

·        As nations come to worship the LORD their land will receive rain

·        Habakkuk 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

7.     The New Heavens and New Earth

·        Eternal Regeneration

·        2Peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

·        Isaiah 65:17, 66:22; Revelation 21:1,5

The regeneration of Israel and the world and the earth can not happen until Jesus Christ returns in His glory and Israel looks upon Him and repents over what they did to Him.  True repentance is not just being sorry, but turning from old ways to God's way.

Israel must realize it is not about the redeemed, it is all about the Redeemer!
