Paul's Mysteries To The Churches Part 2

Rom 16:25a ¶ Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ,

·       2Co 1:21-22 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

·       Rom 5:1-2 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

·       1Cor 15:58; Eph4:14; Heb 13:9

We are stablished in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit of God

First: According to Paul’s Gospel [1Cor 15:3-4] which is according to the scriptures;

·       Ro 1:16 ¶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Ø    Christ Crucified 1Cor 1:23-24

Ø    1Co 15:1 ¶ Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

Ø    Ye must be born again” you must take the walk down the Roman’s road before you can learn from the preaching of Christ.

·       Eph 1:12-14 The why and the how we are established.

Ø    Why: that we should be to the praise of God’s glory.

Ø    How: First by first trusting in Christ through hearing the gospel: Second by being sealed with the holy Spirit

Second: According to the preaching of Jesus Christ.

·       2Tim 4:2 A pastor is to preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

·       Eph 4:12-14 . . . He gave some evangelists, some pastors and teachers [the same office] for the perfecting of the saints . . . the body of Christ; the churches. Why: so we will be mature Christians who will not be able to be fooled by false doctrine of cunning men who want to destroy the churches

·       We have studied Christ our High Priest, Christ and the atonement, Christ and our redemption, Christ in the gospels.

·       The more we learn of Christ the more we are able to stand established, unmovable in the truth.

Rom 16:25b according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

·       Eph 3:3-6 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)  .  .  . 6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Ø    Paul must have revealed this mystery to the church in Ephesus in a short letter before.

Ø    Ro 10:12 ¶ For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

Ø    Ro 12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

Ø    1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

·       Eph 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Ø    Col 1:26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Ø    Col 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

Ø    1Ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Rom 16:26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith

·       The hidden mystery of equal the salvation of Gentiles by the grace of God through faith. [Eph 2:1-2 the dispensation of the grace given to Paul for the salvation of the Gentiles]

·       Ro 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

·       Ro 12:3 the measure of faith that is given to every individual must be obeyed. Rom 1:

·       Eph 6:19-20 ¶ And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
