The Parables of the Kingdom of Heaven Part 3b

Mt 8:11-12 This is not a parable

The children of the kingdom are first the Jews

·       Since the sending of the Holy Ghost more many more Gentiles have been saved than Jews.

·       Those who do not die during the seven year tribulation or the TYRC will enter [escape into] the kingdom of heaven alive and will not be sitting down but working

·       Jesus and the Old Testament saints will be in their resurrected bodies. The church and all saints who die during the tribulation and the TYRC will enter the kingdom of heaven in resurrected bodies and will be sitting in the kingdom with Jesus.

Matthew 18:1-6 This is not a parable

·       The Jews who will enter the thousand year reign of Christ will do so only through “Child like faith”. They will reject the mark of the beast only through child like faith. The tares of the field or the children of the wicked one are those who will offend the Jews with child-like faith.

Mt 18:23-35 Therefore {V21-22} because Jews are to forgive one another over and over. [Note: the debtor had every intension to repay the debt; it was not an intentional trespass.]

·       That is what the kingdom of heaven, the TYRC, will be like. It will be a time reserved for those Jews that keep Mark 12:28-31 during the tribulation showing the world the grace of God by way they deal with other Jews.

·       It appears to me there will be Jews will be lending to other Jews during the tribulation.

·       Those Jews who refuse to express pity and compassion face V18:34.

·       Consider this: Jews who take the mark of the beast my lend food to those who refuse the mark. When repayment is demanded payment can not be made. Rev 20:4

·       Likewise the Jews to whom Jesus was speaking and refused to show the pity to other Jews are in torments today with the rich man of Lk 16:23

Mat 20:1 Householder and his laborers

·       The length of service during the TYRC will not be the criteria for reward received in the kingdom of heaven. The reward will be Christ’s to give at His discretion. Eph 6:6; Col 3:22

Mat 22:1-14 Those bidden to come to the wedding

V13 Places this parable before the great white throne judgment

·       Who is the king: Christ

·       Who is the king’s servants: Jews

·       Who is bidden to come to the feast: Jews

Ø    The marriage: Rev 19:5-9 the marriage supper of the Lamb [not Christ] Rev 21:1-11 The Lamb and His wife

·       The bidding takes place during the TRYC

·       There are Jews who will not be coming to Jerusalem during the TYRC. Only a few answer the call [V20:16] they will also bid the Gentiles to come and may will go to thw wedding.

·       Woe to those who think they can enter the kingdom without being clothed in the righteousness of God. They will be weeping not whaling; they will be aware of why they are in the lake of fire and how it could have been avoided.

Matthew 25:1 The virgins watching for the bridegroom

·       The virgins are lot looking to be married to bridegroom; he has his bride [Rev 20]. When the bridegroom comes He will be with his bride. The virgins will be serving the bride they will be preparing for the coming of the bridegroom and his bride. The bride is the New Jerusalem the bridegroom is Jesus as the Lamb. The five virgins who keep their lamps full are those Jews who will be watching [hoping] with child-like faith for the Lamb and His bride. They will not be deceived by Satan as those who burn their oil. I believe this will be during Satan’s little season because they are told in scripture how long the tribulation and the TYRC is. The duration of Satan’s little season is not defined in scripture. [Isa 23:12; Jer 14:17; Lam 2:13]

Mat 25:14 The man traveling into a far country and his servants.

·       The man: Jesus Christ

·       His servants: the Jews who have the word of the kingdom of heaven

·       The one who hid his talent given him in the ground denies what he knows about the man as being true. It would have been better to put the talent to work with no return than not to use it at all. He was looking for a different kind of man. Just like Israel today.

·       These servants are like the virgins they did not know when the man would return they were to keep working and watching.
