The Parables of The Kingdom of Heaven   Part 3a

Zechariah 14:

·       1-7 the end of the tribulation

·       8-11 the beginning of the TYRC [V9] The land of promise will be cleansed and healed through living the water that will flow from Jerusalem. The land of promise is the only land that will be producing food. The Jews will be living in safety and peace because the King is on his throne. [See What Israel was to be Deu 28 ]

·       16-21 during the TYRC gentile nations will have to come to Jerusalem to buy food. Those nations that come to worship the King and keep the feast of the tabernacles will receive rain and they land will produce food. Nations that do not obey the word to come to the feast will not receive rain but will still have to come to Jerusalem to but food and their land will be utterly wasted [Isa 60:12]. Egypt will be one such nation that will not come up.

·       12-15 Satan’s little season [Rev 20:7-9] ends with the burning of the tares.

·       Remember parables of the wheat and tares and the net and the catch of Mat 13

·       At the beginning of Satan’s little season Christ is no longer on the throne on the earth. His protection of Jerusalem is also ended.

·       All who obeyed His prophets and kept his covenant have been gathered to Jerusalem by the angels of the Lord. But those who despised the King during the TYRC still must come to Jerusalem to by food.

·       V15 at the end of Satan’s little season all the food of the world and all the wealth of the world will be in Jerusalem. The nations of the utterly wasted land will be coming against Jerusalem and Judah will be fighting them.

·       When Satan brings all these nations at once the LORD will send a great tumult they will be fighting one another than fire form heaven completely destroys those who will come against Jerusalem and those within her gates.

·       The Lamb descends with his bride Rev 21:1.

The kingdom of heaven is first and foremost for the Jews. After the taking up of the church the focus of all things center around God’s people and His city. The gentiles who enter the kingdom of heaven do so through the Jews. The gentiles who escape the tribulation alive into the thousand year reign of Christ will be those who show mercy to Israel during the tribulation.

The six parables of Matthew 13 deal with what is going on during the TYRC. [The nation of Israel first]

The last five parables the kingdom of heaven is likened unto are about how the Jews will enter the TYRC and eternity with the lamb.

1.    Mt 18:23 The king and his servants

2.    Mt 20:1 The householder and his laborers

3.    Mt 22:2 The king, his servants, and those bidden to the wedding

4.    Mt 25:1 The ten virgins

5.    Mt 25:14 The man and his servants

These five parables that the kingdom of heaven is likened to deals with servants and their service to their master, the Lord.

·       The 144,000 Jewish virgin men are the sealed prophets of the Lamb during the first half of the tribulation.

I believe the 144,000 will be killed during the first half of the tribulation. Who will kill them?

·       The ancestors of the scribes and pharisees Mt 23:29-31; [Joh 8:44]
