The word of the kingdom of heaven

·       Mat 3:2 John the Baptist and - Mat 4:17, 23 Jesus Christ Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Ø    Mat 24:13-14 Gospel of the kingdom endure to the end to

Ø    be saved [alive into the kingdom of heaven: the 1000 yr. reign of Christ]

I believe there is another word of the kingdom during the thousand year reign of Christ:

·       Isa 66:19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles. Zech 14:8-9, 16-17 The land of promise will be healed by the water from His throne. After the tribulation the land of promise will be the only land able to produce food.

·       Many of the Jews who escape the seven year tribulation alive will be sent throughout the world during the thousand year reign of Christ, the first part of the kingdom of heaven: There message to the Gentile nations: There is food in the land of promise come and worship the King, the LORD of hosts and your land will receive rain.

·       Isa 60:12 If a nation does now serve Christ the King their land will not receive rain and will utterly wasted. The nation will still have to come to Jerusalem for food.

From the parable of the sower in Matthew 13:3-8, 18-23

·       V19 seed is the word of the kingdom

·       V19 The wicked one is revealed as the fowls of V4 wicked one is describes as being plural

Ø    See Mat 25:41 Satan has his angels [Rev 12:19; Gen 6]

Ø    Jer 5:27 As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.

·       V20-21 The stony places: Ex 19:8; 24:3,7 “All that the LORD hath spoken we will do” with Zec 7:12, Mat 11:6

·       That described the nation of Israel beginning with Moses. Remember Judas Iscariot

·       V22 among the thorns: those who receive the word of the kingdom in their hearts but they enter the kingdom alone.

Ø    The thorns: Matthew 23:13, 15 [The scribes & Pharisees]

·       V23 those who receive the word of the kingdom in their hearts and enter the kingdom and take many others with them

The parable of the sower is about Satan using Jewish leaders, his devils, and what the world has to offer to keep those who hear the word of the kingdom of heaven out of the kingdom.

The scribes and Pharisees were successful in shutting the kingdom of heaven to the nation to those alive when the events of Matthew took place.

·       During the tribulation: Did God say you must not take the mark of the beast?

·       During the 1000 year reign: Did God say come and worship in Jerusalem?

There is another parable in Matthew 13 that does not begin with “The kingdom of heaven is like”.

Mat 13:52, Therefore [why is therefore there for?  [V51 since they understood the parables] every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

·       Mat 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

·       Among these disciples to whom the parables were explained were the men who penned books of our Bible [Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Peter and Jude.

·       They were given the responsibility to care for and pass on the knowledge they were entrusted with.

·       Something old: Isa 33:6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.

·       Their treasure is what they have received from the LORD [wisdom, knowledge and their fear of the LORD]

·       Something new: the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.

Something to think about

What does the householder possess: the Keys to the house.

Matthew 23:13

Peter was given the keys to the kingdom of heaven

Peter was the apostle to the Jews. Gal 2:7
