Mysteries of The Kingdom of Heaven Part 1

The first mention: Matthew 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the  but to them it is not given.

·       This begins the explanation of the parable of the sower who went forth to sow.

The kingdom of heaven: heaven is a real physical place this kingdom is a physical kingdom.

·       Mat 3:2, 4:17, 10:7 - the kingdom of heaven was at hand

·       The king of the Jews, Jesus Christ was physically in their presence. He could have called the kingdom of heaven down to earth at that moment.

·       An everlasting kingdom: Ex 15:18; Ps 145:13; Dan 4:3, 7:18, 7:27; 2Pet 1:11 The LORD shall reign for ever and ever with his saints. 

·       Begins on earth: Rev 20:1-6 The thousand year reign of Christ [Ends after day 360,000. On day 360,001 He and his throne and his church are back in heaven.

·       Kingdom of heaven becomes established eternally upon the earth when the Lamb returns with His bride. Rev 21:1,22; 22:1; Isa 66:22-23, 65:17

 

The first parable is the sower that went to sow and the seed

·       Mat 13:3; Mark 4:3; Luke 8:4

·       Mark 4:13 Knowing the meaning of this parable is the key to unlocking the meaning of all the rest of the parables.

·       This is why each time this parable is recorded a detailed explanation is given. Put all three explanation together gives understanding of the parable 

·       Mat 13:10 His explanation the parable of the sower that went forth to sow was for their (disciples) ears only

The parable of sower went forth to sow in Mat 13 does not begin with “the kingdom of heaven is like or as”. When Jesus reveals the meaning to his disciples in V19 He says it is about those who hear the word of the kingdom.

·       This parable is not about what will be happening just during the kingdom of heaven but also anytime the word of the kingdom is proclaimed. [the time Christ earthly ministry and the tribulation and the thousand year reign of Christ]

The word of the kingdom of heaven

·       Mat 3:2 John the Baptist and - Mat 4:17, 23 Jesus Christ Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Ø    Mat 24:13-14 Gospel of the kingdom endure to the end to

Ø    be saved [alive into the kingdom of heaven: the 1000 yr. reign of Christ]
