Christ In You The Hope Of glory

1Jo 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

·       1Jo 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

·       What was taught from the beginning?

Ø    John 14:10-11 The Son is in the Father and the Father is in the Son

Ø    John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Ø    John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

1Jo 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit

1Jo 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

1Jo 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

Christ In You The Hope Of Glory

Eph 6:19 Paul asked for prayer to help him make known the mystery of the Gospel.

·       Col 1:23-24 Paul considered the afflictions he suffered in his flesh at the hands of his enemies to be actually aimed at Christ. Christ counted the shame as nothing (despised) for the joy that was set before Him. If the body of Christ, the church continued in the faith grounded and settled, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel which Paul preached than Paul considered his suffering a rejoicing.

·       Col 1:25-27 Paul made manifest to the body of Christ the mystery that had been hidden from the beginning of time:  which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

·       Rom 8:30; ; Jude 24;

·       Eph 1:12-14 First trusting in Christ basis for understanding Eph 1:3-11. You must have Christ in you before you predestined to be like Him.

·       2Thes 1:8-9

Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
