Genesis 1:1 ¶ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

·       Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

·       We must accept Gen 1&2 as truth only through faith. If one professes to be saved and continues to deny Genesis he must examine his salvation.

In Geometry a line continues forever in two directions (so it has infinite length),

In Geometry, Genesis is the formation of a line (a ray), plane or solid, by the motion or movement in continued succession,

·       Genesis is continual movement in one direction from a starting point.

·       A ray is a one directional line starting at one point and going in one direction for infinity.

Genesis 1:1 is the starting point of God’s Genesis.

·       From the moment God created the heaven and the earth He started moving His creation in one eternal, infinite direction: the propose for His creation.

God’s Genesis

·       Isa 45:22-24 .  .  .   23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.  .  .  .

·       Php 2:10-11 with Rev 5:13 Man along with every creature [in heaven, on the earth, in the sea, in the earth and under the earth] will bow in worship before the Son of God throughout eternity to the glory of God the Father.

·       1Chr 29:11 The LORD is exalted as head above all.

·       Ps 148:13 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

The sole purpose of God’s creation is to worship Him through His Son; acknowledging that The LORD is exalted as head above all.

·       Eph 1:17-21 The Father of glory has sat Jesus Christ far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

Genesis 1:1 God started a continuous movement toward his eternal kingdom where every knee shall bow in worship, acknowledging that He is truly exalted as head above all

·       Ex 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:

·       Isa 9:7  .  .  . The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this

·       Isa 48:11  .  .  .  I will not give my glory unto another.

Genesis 1:1 God started a continuous movement toward his eternal kingdom where every knee shall bow in worship, acknowledging that He is truly exalted as head above all for all eternity!!!

·       This ‘Genesis” can be followed through studying seven dispensations seen throughout the Bible.

·       Dr. C.I Scofield defines a dispensation as a period of time during which man is tested in respect of obedience to some specific revelation of the will of God.

·       In each dispensation God reveals Himself through how He demands man to worship Him.

Paul wrote of two dispensations [see below}.  He wrote of ages past and ages to come.

·       Eph 2:7, 3:5, 3:21; Col 1:26 Paul speaks of ages past and ages to come.

1) Age of Innocence

2) Age of Conscience

3) Age of Human Government

4) Age of Promise

5) Age of The law

The two dispensations named by Paul

6) Dispensation of God’s gospel of grace:

·       Church age [1Co 9:17; Eph 3:2; Col 1:25]

7) Dispensation of The fulness of times:

·       [Eph 1:10] Referred to as the kingdom age.

The first four dispensations are seen in the book of Genesis.

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Every knee shall bow in worship to the King, all flesh will bless His holy name for ever

What about those who are cast into the lake of fire of Rev 20:15.

·       See Isa 66:22-24. Could it be as those who leave New Jerusalem see, through the clear as crystal streets, those in the lake of fire bowing in worship to the Lamb who will be sitting upon the throne of God?

·       Their knees bent in eternal worship while in eternal torment.

·       Isa 45:24 Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.

·       Rev 14:9-11

·       I wonder which will bring the greatest torment, the fire or the worship they must offer to the One they are incense against?
